Tommi,…………as always a beautiful job, and an engine that should give you a thrill to drive. I would love to find the intake and carb setup you have, over here in the USA. guess I need to talk to the right people. Keep up the great work, and am looking forward to your next post.
Bill
Thanks for the update Tommi, i’m watching with great interest…noticed you painted the engine blue, very similar to Ford blue in the U.S.. I’m now convinced Saab should be reborn with the 96!
Wow Tommi! You are such a master with these Saabs. I think I will use this site as a great reference on the proper way to do things. Thanks for sharing so much detail!
Thanks for the comments! But, looking at your project I think you are doing nice work yourself!
Welding is the most tedious part of any restoration project, but doing it properly is very rewarding.
Tommi, As always the wait is worth it. From your pictures and description of work, you are a master rebuilder, and it shows in your work and in the details of great workmanship. Looking forward to your next post. Bill
Wow, great job! I have to admit that this blog inspired me to do build a similar engine for my 1971 Ford Capri. Your engine rebuild is really great, and the complete car rebuild as well. Great job, congrats!
