I have activated the WordPress content delivery network Photon. This means that in the future all the images on the site should load faster – especially if your are not in Finland 😀
The performance may be a bit sluggish at first as the image files are distributed all around the Photon network. This will take some time – there’s a lot of photos on this site! But ultimately it should increase performance visibly.
So – sorry for the inconvenience and let me know if you bump in to any bugs.
