I have not had too much time to work on the 96 “Rally”, but there is some progress. The rollcage was test fitted. Coming from a different Saab 96 it was not a straightforward bolt-on, but took some hammering, drilling, and welding… But all in all it went in easier …
Well, it took a few weeks but the ’69 Rally car body work is done – or rather the rust repairs. There’s still modifications to be done. That car had a LOT more rust than I thought… I think the welding cost me almost 200 € in Mison gas alone… …
