There was some corrosion issues with the “good” trunk hatch also. After removing all the accessories it was clear some welding needed to be done around the window frame. The SAAB 99 Finlandia prototype was made in the Uusikaupunki car factory in 1976. It was based on the standard SAAB 99 Combi-Coupé. Saab 99 Finlandia (limousine) for sale
There is a Saab 99 GLE Finlandia with the small window for sale here: www.nettiauto.com And asking price is very reasonable. Automatic with fuel injection. It does require a lot of work to restore, but there was only 23 made of this 1977 model (Yep – no zeros missing!).

Saab Club Finland – Winter Fun 2012
Saabs on ice! Here’s some footage from ice track today. The red Saab 96 is a V4 Rally and the yellow one is V4 Rallycross edition (Power steering, extremely lightened body, used to have injection engine but now has carburettors).
